Menimbang Kesiapan Stakeholders Menerapkan Metaverse dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen

The application of Metaverse technology is a necessity in all areas of life, including in Christian religious education learning. The positive impact generated by Metaverse in learning is highly beneficial for the advancement of education. This study is intended to examine the readiness of stakeholders to apply Metaverse in Christian religious education. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive study. The data obtained from the literature is used as a source to find information about the readiness to implement Metaverse in Christian Religious Education. Thus, it can be concluded that stakeholders are not yet ready and still need to make serious efforts in some of these areas to be able to apply Metaverse in Christian education. The purpose of this research is to reveal the duties and responsibilities of Christian Religious Education stakeholders in responding to the Metaverse as the latest technological findings in the world of education. The results indicated that the readiness of stakeholders in the fields of teacher competence and curriculum is adequate or at least can be pursued with relative ease. However, the readiness of stakeholders in the fields of providing Metaverse infrastructure, Metaverse ecosystem, overcoming the challenges of Metaverse implementation, and fulfilling social and spiritual elements in the form of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the implementation of Christian religious education is not yet fully fulfilled.
