Narasi Dukacita Traumatis Warga Jemaat yang Belum Selesai Pasca Kematian Anggota Keluarga Akibat Covid-19

Kematian orang yang dicintai karena terpapar virus Covid-19 menjadi pengalaman dukacita yang mengejutkan, penuh keterbatasan, isolasi, dan ragam hal baru yang jarang ditemukan ketika berdukacita. Gereja telah melakukan pelayanan pastoral kedukaan di tengah keterbatasan dan rasa takut, namun kedukaan keluarga yang ditinggalkan masih memiliki banyak pergumulan yang belum terselesaikan, hingga menimbulkan pengalaman dukacita traumatis. Usaha gereja dalam memberikan pelayanan pastoral kedukaan di tengah rasa takut dan keterbatasan bagi pengalaman dukacita warga gereja yang kehilangan anggota keluarga akibat terpapar virus Covid-19 bukanlah titik akhir dari gereja sebagai ruang kedukaan, sehingga tulisan ini berusaha mengusulkan pelayanan pastoral kedukaan pasca pandemi yang membantu anggota jemaatnya untuk secara penuh serta utuh menghadapi kedukaan yang berkelindan dengan pengalaman traumatis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif berbasis studi literatur dalam memperoleh data-data penelitian. Artikel ini bertujuan menggunakan teori Alan D. Wolfelt tentang Reframing PTSD as Traumatic Grief yang signifikan untuk mengembangkan model pastoral kedukaan bagi warga jemaat yang mengalami dukacita karena kematian anggota keluarga akibat virus Covid-19, namun belum beroleh kesempatan menghadapinya secara menyeluruh. Dukacita ini peneliti sebut sebagai dukacita yang belum selesai (unfinished grief) yang menimbulkan trauma bagi keluarga yang berduka. Sasaran hasil pembahasan artikel ini merupakan pengembangan pelayanan pastoral gereja yang mampu menyediakan ruang bagi ragam narasi dukacita traumatis anggota jemaat pasca pandemi Covid-19 untuk dapat dieksplorasi, dipersaksikan, dan dirangkul dalam hangatnya komunitas gereja.
