Persepsi Guru Sains terhadap Buku Teks dalam Pendidikan Kristen

Kebergantungan guru pada buku teks tanpa memahami filosofi penulisnya melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Tujuan studi ini adalah mendeskripsikan persepsi guru Sains SMP SLH Curug, Tangerang, dalam menggunakan buku teks Sains untuk mencapai visi misi sekolah. Secara spesifik penelitian ini menggali persepsi, dasar pemikiran, strategi, tantangan, dan refleksi guru dalam menggunakan buku teks untuk dalam mencapai visi misi sekolah. Metode fenomenologi kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap empat guru Sains diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada lima tema yang dibahas yaitu kriteria standar pemerintah Indonesia, Tema Kontekstual Wawasan Kristen Alkitabiah (TKWKA), pemahaman sepanjang hayat, penjelasan dengan contoh, dan refleksi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan persepsi guru Sains terhadap buku teks yaitu sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang penggunaannya perlu diselaraskan dengan visi misi sekolah, ada lima dasar pemikiran guru saat menggunakan buku teks tersebut, ada empat tantangan di dalam pengintegrasian buku teks dengan Wawasan Kristen Alkitabiah, refleksi guru berupa kesadaran, tanggung jawab, dan kreativitas pedagogis guru saat menggunakan buku teks tersebut. Disimpulkan bahwa para guru Sains di SMP SLH Curug menerapkan filosofi pendidikan Kristen dalam penggunaan buku teks Sains. Disarankan adanya Professional Learning Community (PLC) untuk membantu para guru menggunakan buku teks berdasarkan Wawasan Kristen Alkitabiah dan penelitian lanjutan mengenai penyusunan model integrasi buku teks dalam pendidikan Kristen.
