Membangun Liturgi Partisipatif bagi Umat dengan Disabilitas

Gereja adalah rumah bagi semua orang untuk dapat berpartisipasi di dalamnya. Namun kenyataan yang ada bahwa diskriminasi terhadap orang dengan disabilitas masih terjadi di dalam gereja. Hal ini dapat ditemukan dari berbagai sisi di gereja salah satunya adalah liturgi. Ibadah merupakan pengalaman bersama umat, tetapi sayangnya orang dengan disabilitas terkadang tidak difasilitasi untuk dapat berpartisipasi dan merasakan pengalaman bersama itu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gereja seharusnya menjadi ruang pengalaman bersama untuk seluruh umat tanpa kecuali sehingga gereja terpanggil untuk melibatkan orang dengan disabilitas dalam pelayanan di gereja, salah satu bentuknya adalah berperan dalam ibadah. Gereja inklusi bukan soal akses yang cukup untuk orang dengan disabilitas, tetapi penerimaan kerapuhan dan relasi dengan mereka membuka ruang untuk orang dengan disabilitas diberi kesempatan untuk berpartisipasi dalam liturgi.
